Returns, Refunds & Guarantee

Our 1-month guarantee

Every pre-owned item sold on Playloot.ie is covered by a free 1-month guarantee against defects, starting the day your order is delivered.

If your item develops a fault within the guarantee period:

  1. Contact us at info@playloot.ie or WhatsApp +353 89 960 5778 with your order reference and a description (photos or video help).
  2. We'll send you a prepaid return label — returning a faulty item never costs you anything.
  3. Once our technicians confirm the fault, you choose: a full refund (item price + original delivery), or a replacement with an equivalent item where available.

The guarantee covers defects in normal use. It doesn't cover accidental damage, liquid damage, unauthorised repairs or modifications, or normal cosmetic wear consistent with the condition grade shown when you bought.

Your statutory rights (EU / Ireland)

Nothing in our guarantee limits your statutory rights under Irish and EU consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2022.

14-day cooling-off period

As an online purchase, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery without giving a reason, and a further 14 days to return the item. To exercise this right, contact us in writing (email is fine) within the period.

  • Items must be returned in the condition you received them, with all included accessories and packaging.
  • Unless the item is faulty, the cost of return postage is yours.
  • We refund within 14 days of receiving the item back (or proof of postage), using your original payment method.
  • We may reduce the refund to reflect any diminished value from handling beyond what's needed to establish the item's nature and functioning.

Faulty on arrival

If an item arrives damaged or not working, tell us within 48 hours of delivery. We'll arrange free return postage and a priority replacement or full refund — your choice.

How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the original payment method (card via Stripe). Allow 5–10 working days for your bank to show the credit after we process it.
